Customer Survey Results
Dear Valued Customer:
 Welcome home to your favorite online consultant for beauty and skincare, Makeup4Sisters™, a division of The MarieLynn Group, Inc. We are proud to offer makeup for women, as well as skincare and grooming products for men and women. Many describe Makeup4Sisters™ as the premier retailer of black makeup or cosmetics for women of color, and this is logical, as 85% of our customers are ethnic women of color, and another 15% of our customers are of European descent or general market customers. Most importantly, we look to serve sisters of every hue because "all women are sisters." We also believe that a few good men will value our sales and service model. That's because, at Makeup4Sisters™, men can shop not only for their wives, but for themselves, too.
Since a large segment of our focus is on ethnic makeup and cosmetics--makeup for African-Americans, makeup for Latinas and makeup for Asians and East Indians--we focus our sales on Flori Roberts, Interface and Iman Cosmetics. Our shea-based "stubble trouble" grooming products from Caswell-Massey, Ltd are particularly good for African American men who experience more difficulty with bumps after shaving. However, if you'd also like to order products from Arbonne, Mary Kay or BeautiControl, or request wigs and hair pieces (not weave hair), we refer to certified Independent Consultants nationwide, so just call us!
We believe in all of the products that we sell and we endeavor to present credible choices for our consumers. We've recently learned that our customers buy across 2-3 different product lines. However, a recent Makeup4Sisters™ Random Customer Survey indicated that our Flori Roberts products are gaining most significantly in popularity for women of color. The Flori Roberts demographics are as follow:
80% of surveyed respondents use Flori Roberts' lipsticks; down 2%
48% of surveyed respondents use Flori Roberts liquid, cream or satin finish foundation;up 6%
63% of surveyed respondents use Flori Roberts' skincare;
57% of all clients between the ages of 37 and 67 use at least 2 different Flori products; and
70% of Flori users who shop with Makeup4Sisters™ earn over $40K per year.
Significantly, it does appear that Flori Roberts Cream to Powders do not sell as frequently as Iman Cream to Powders. Iman Cream to Powder sells 15% more, currently. This may be because many Latinas and Asians, as well as olive-skinned or tanned general market customers buy Iman's Sand 0, Sand 3, Sand 4 and Sand 5 shades. Alternatively, it may be that the Iman shades have a higher following as they were highly touted at J C Penney's, Parisians, Macy's and other prominent, big city department stores for years. Regardless, this is an interesting statistic, as our research determined that those who do switch to the Flori Roberts Cream to Powder are more satisfied with the coverage. The chart below highlights Flori Roberts' products that are offered in the same shades as Iman cosmetics and vice versa. Often, you can't determine shade variations by internet photos, so these color comparisons have been tested by the Color Me Beautiful marketing team and further verified by our customer base. For your convenience, a price comparison is below. We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases--regardless of the brand they order--so the information offered is simply a part of our strict commitment to customer education.
 In short, based on the overall survey results, we can truly say that Flori Roberts appears to be the first choice of the majority of our customer base! However, whichever of the Color Me Beautiful Brands you choose to wear --Flori Roberts, Iman, Interface, Adrien Arpel, Gale Hayman--Beverly Hills or Color Me Beautiful--we believe you'll find them right here at Makeup4Sisters™.
